This design, in combination with the increasing width of the grooves as they approach the edges, allows the use of wheel rotation to drain water and its mixture with snow. This significantly improves stability on wet and snowy surfaces. An important feature is the use of a rubber compound that includes polymers. They provide elasticity to the compound even at temperatures below minus 30 degrees Celsius. This noticeably improves the performance of the tire in the most difficult winter conditions.
