The Zeetex HP101 summer tire, manufactured by a well-known North American producer, is designed for powerful sports cars, as evidenced by the highest speed ratings assigned to this tire.
This tire belongs to the category of high-performance tires. The symmetrical directional V-shaped tread pattern is characterized by an exceptionally aggressive design, which indicates excellent tire performance even at very high speeds.
The tread pattern of the Zeetex HP101 tire consists of 3 central ribs and two shoulder zones. The rib in the center of the tread has no interruptions along its entire length. This solution allowed for excellent directional stability and significantly reduced the tire's response time to even the slightest steering wheel movement. Additionally, the central rib is equipped with a wear indicator.
The two ribs adjacent to the central rib are distinguished by their large width and the presence of numerous water-removing channels of a curved shape. This shape is the most effective for increasing the speed of water removal from the tire's contact patch. However, this solution only complements the tire's excellent resistance to aquaplaning, the main burden of which is borne by the four very wide and deep water-removing grooves that run along the entire tread.
The design of the shoulder zones was also developed with high-speed driving in mind. The distinctive feature of the shoulder zones is their large width, which provides excellent traction not only when driving in a straight line but also when cornering at high speeds.
Distinguishing features of the Zeetex HP101 tire

- Exceptional resistance to aquaplaning, ensured by the high efficiency of water removal from the contact patch;
- Excellent responsiveness and high directional stability, thanks to the solid wide rib located in the center of the tread.
