Block Structure
The tread pattern is built not chaotically, but as a precise system of many blocks, grouped into longitudinal ribs. This architecture solves the contradictory task: to provide stability for a heavy vehicle at high speeds and reduce the likelihood of wheel spin on unpaved roads. Due to the clear longitudinal division of blocks:
- rolling resistance is reduced;
- uneven wear is decreased — blocks do not deform under load;
- directional stability at speeds over 100 km/h.
When you need to rebuild or emergency bypass an obstacle, the precision of control remains at the level of a passenger car — the tire clearly responds to steering wheel turns without rolling and delays.
Lamellas and Edges
The array of differently directed edges created by blocks and lamellas cut into them guarantees increased traction in any conditions. On dry pavement, it works like a single rigid contact patch. On wet pavement — lamellas open up, additionally "scraping off" the water film and evacuating moisture into micro-channels. The result is that the traction and handling characteristics on wet pavement are virtually indistinguishable from dry conditions.
Optimized Profile
Separate work has been done on the tread profile. An optimized curvature is used here. This gives two advantages:
- increased contact patch — pressure is distributed more evenly, which improves handling and reduces peak loads on the tire;
- slowed down wear — the tire does not "eat" the shoulder areas during frequent turns and does not "go bald" in the center during straight driving.
