The winter non-studded tire Yokohama Geolandar I/T+ G071, produced by one of the leaders of the Japanese tire industry, was specifically designed for powerful vehicles with increased cross-country capability - crossovers, pickups, and SUVs. This model is produced in more than 20 of the most popular sizes from 15 to 18 inches, which indicates the possibility of its use on most modern vehicles with increased cross-country capability.

The Japanese manufacturer has equipped the Yokohama Geolandar I/T+ G071 tire with a directional V-shaped tread pattern. This design is most effective in ensuring stability on dry roads. In addition, the V-shaped structure of the tread perfectly resists aquaplaning. The entire central part of the tread is occupied by massive blocks, the numerous edges of which have significantly improved the efficiency of acceleration and braking on dry pavement. When driving on wet roads, the directional pattern provides the fastest water and slush removal from the contact patch.

When driving on snow, reliable traction is provided due to the zigzag shape of the edges of the longitudinal grooves located in the central part of the tread. Thanks to these edges, numerous sharp edges are formed, which effectively cut through the water film that forms when driving on snowy and icy surfaces.

To compensate for the lack of studs when driving on ice, the tire tread is equipped with wavy lamellas, which are located on each tread element. The multitude of wavy lamellas additionally form numerous engagement edges, which, working like scrapers, also cut through the water film on the surface of the ice. This allows the tire to more effectively grip the slippery surface.
