The Yokohama Bluearth AE51B summer tire is designed primarily for compact passenger cars. It is favorably distinguished by stable handling in complex weather conditions, high-speed stability, fuel efficiency, and quiet ride.
The tread pattern is made in a directional design with an asymmetric arrangement of elements. The three longitudinal ribs located in the central part have a solid structure, which provides high directional stability. The "lightning" grooves enhance grip on wet pavement, increasing stability when maneuvering. The spherical depressions in the sidewalls reduce heat, and with it, rolling resistance.
