Yokohama Advan dB v551

The summer tire Yokohama Advan dB v551 is designed for the most dynamic versions of mid-size passenger cars. It is favorably distinguished by acoustic comfort, a soft ride while maintaining the sports-like precision handling and stability at high speeds characteristic of UHP models.

The shoulder areas of the tread contain special grooves. They reduce the noise that occurs when the blocks come into contact with the road surface. The optimized profile of the shoulder areas allows for damping of most of the impact from irregularities. The grooves in the central part, due to their profile, prevent the occurrence of noise from air passing through the longitudinal drainage channels at high speed. The tread rubber compound contains special polymers that reduce tire heating during prolonged movement, as well as a large amount of silica dioxide, which increases "grip" on a wet surface.
