Description Yokohama 125T
The commercial tire Yokohama 125T is installed on the trailer axle of large-capacity trucks. A universal model that can be used both on highways and regional roads, which do not always have high-quality pavement.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of numerous gripping edges. Some of them have a Z-shaped form, which additionally increases the grip properties on snowy and icy surfaces. The blocks on the edges of the tread are enlarged in size and rigidly connected to each other. This increases the directional stability at high speed, reduces rolling resistance, and prevents rapid tire wear. The wavy shape of the drainage grooves also reduces wear and, in addition, reduces the likelihood of stones getting stuck in the tread.
Key features of Yokohama 125T
- zigzag-shaped edges of blocks and lamellas improve braking properties on snowy and icy surfaces;
- wide blocks on the edges of the tread reduce fuel consumption, increase directional stability;
- wavy shape of drainage grooves reduces the risk of aquaplaning and stones getting stuck in the tread.
