Description Windforce WA1088
The Windforce WA1088 tire is designed for use on the steering axle, but if necessary, the manufacturer allows its operation on any axle of trucks. It is intended for use in long-haul transportation on highways with good road surface quality.
The tread pattern has a classic closed design for commercial tires with five longitudinal ribs. The edge elements are enlarged and have a trapezoidal profile, which further increases their stiffness. This provides more precise handling and reduces uneven wear. The central three ribs are narrowed, which reduces rolling resistance, increasing traction stability. Numerous lamellas are cut throughout the tread. They improve traction properties on wet surfaces, making it possible to use the tire on all axles.
