"Muddy" tire Wideway Mud-Terrain T/A KM6 is designed specifically for vehicles with increased cross-country ability (four-wheel drive off-road vehicles, pickups and some crossovers). It solves the problem of year-round mobility without seasonal "re-shoeing", offering a balanced response to every type of coverage: from dry summer asphalt to wet autumn road and winter slush with rare snowfalls. This is a true "all-season" of a new generation.
Stability Basis
The base of the tire is an optimized non-directional symmetrical tread pattern. A large network of channels creates a powerful "pumping" effect, quickly and organizedly displacing water from under the tire. This not only prevents aquaplaning, but also neutralizes the dangerous effect of slushing - loss of traction due to a hydrodynamic wedge of snow slush or water film, both longitudinally and transversely. Blocks located at a sharp angle to the axis of rotation form a series of closed contours. When in contact with the surface, they provide multiple gain of working edges, which significantly improves traction on any surface.
High-Speed Precision
Central segmented ribs act as a power frame. They provide uncompromising directional stability and clear response to the steering wheel when moving in a straight line and on high-speed interchanges, which is critical for high and heavy off-road vehicles. This structure also stabilizes the blocks, preventing their excessive displacement and maintaining even wear.
Molecular Flexibility
The tire's performance is provided by a rubber compound based on specially selected elastomers and an enhanced proportion of natural components. The composition retains the ability to microdeform even at temperatures close to zero. This ensures the preservation of traction on cold asphalt, ice and compacted snow. At the same time, the compound retains its structural integrity and wear resistance in the summer period, not "floating" and not losing resources under load.
Key Features of Wideway Mud-Terrain T/A KM6:
- non-directional pattern with large blocks for reliable fixation of the contact zone;
- special elastic compound for reliable traction in a wide range of temperatures;
- dual rib structure in the center for directional stability and responsive handling;
- channel system for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of the tread pattern in slush conditions.
