Description WestLake WTR1
The commercial tire WestLake WTR1 is designed for trailer equipment. It is positioned by the manufacturer as a universal model suitable for use in both local and regional transportation. It is characterized by increased load capacity, long service life, reliability, and fuel efficiency.
The tread part of the tire is made from a special compound, the composition of which is selected to reduce rolling resistance and wear. These properties are further enhanced by the rigid carcass construction and the tread pattern design with wide solid longitudinal ribs. The elements in the central part contain S-shaped lamellas, which reduce the braking distance on a wet surface. The ribs on the edges of the tread are enlarged and made solid, which reduces uneven wear and increases transverse traction.
Key features of WestLake WTR1
- special rubber compound with increased strength against mechanical damage, heat conductivity, and resistance to abrasive wear;
- solid longitudinal ribs on the edges reduce uneven wear;
- S-shaped lamellas improve the efficiency of the tread during braking, further reducing wear.
