Description WestLake WTL1
The WestLake WTL1 commercial tire is installed on trailer equipment. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use in cargo transportation over long distances on high-speed highways. It is distinguished by an increased mileage before replacement, excellent fuel efficiency, and reliability in harsh operating conditions.
The tread pattern has a closed design with five wide ribs. All elements are made solid, which, combined with their massiveness, provides even wear and reduced rolling resistance. All ribs have transverse lamellas. The curved slots significantly increase the intensity of deceleration on a wet surface. In such conditions, the effectiveness of the tread is also increased due to the large volume of longitudinal drainage grooves, which minimize the risk of aquaplaning. On the bottom of these elements, there are special protrusions that prevent stones from getting stuck in the tread, pushing them outwards. This solution significantly increases the reliability of the tire.
Key features of WestLake WTL1
- a tread pattern with five massive ribs reduces wear and rolling resistance;
- numerous transverse lamellas allow for intense deceleration on a wet surface;
- low risk of aquaplaning due to the increased volume of longitudinal drainage grooves.
