Description WestLake WDL1
The WestLake WDL1 commercial tire is designed for long-term and intensive use on regional highways and motorways. It is recommended for use on the steering axle. It is characterized by high traction on wet and snowy surfaces, directional stability at high speeds, and resistance to damage and abrasive wear.
The tread of the tire is made of a compound that retains a significant amount of elasticity at low temperatures. This largely explains the improved grip on winter roads. The tread pattern features massive blocks on the edges with elongated curved edges. They significantly increase traction on snow. The increased density of blocks in the central part reduces rolling resistance and wear, and improves directional stability at high speeds.
Key features of WestLake WDL1
- "low-temperature" compound increases grip on cold, wet, and snowy surfaces;
- elongated curved edges of blocks on the edges of the tread provide high traction on snow;
- increased density of blocks in the central part reduces wear and fuel consumption, and improves directional stability during steady high-speed driving.
