Description WestLake CR976A
The WestLake CR976A tire is specially designed for use on the steering axle of trucks. During its development, all requirements for tires used for long-distance driving were taken into account.
To improve wear resistance and traction characteristics, a special rubber compound was developed, allowing the rubber to maintain elasticity at negative temperatures and providing increased resistance to abrasion. Optimally selected tread blocks made it possible to achieve excellent self-cleaning, so the tire has increased passability and excellent handling.
Three central rows of blocks provide excellent directional stability, and the reinforced shoulder area provides increased stability when cornering. A large number of lamellas not only gave the tire excellent traction properties but also reduced noise generation during movement.
Four wide longitudinal grooves and a large number of lamellas allow the tire to counteract aquaplaning. The WestLake CR976A tire has an increased margin of strength due to the use of an reinforced cord carcass in production.
Main features of the WestLake CR976A truck tire
- low rolling resistance, high wear resistance, which made it possible to significantly reduce fuel consumption during movement and increase the service life;
- the special design of the tire and the tread pattern provide an exceptional mileage and reduce high temperatures that occur during regional transportation, providing the opportunity to move at increased speeds.
- can be used on the free-rolling axle (trailer axle).
