Description WestLake CM988
The WestLake CM988 commercial tire, installed on cargo vehicles, dump trucks, and buses, is characterized by a smooth ride, a wide contact patch, low wear rate, and fuel efficiency.
The model features a large-block tread pattern, with two longitudinal ribs in the central part. This provides good traction and responsive steering at high speeds. To reduce the risk of hydroplaning and slaloming, deep longitudinal grooves are provided, which open into smaller transverse grooves. This ensures rapid evacuation of water and debris from the contact zone.
To reduce rolling resistance, the surface of the blocks is made smooth. In combination with an elastic compound, this also provides a smooth ride, which is especially important for long trips.
Key features of WestLake CM988
- installation on the driving axle of cargo vehicles, dump trucks, and buses;
- high level of fuel economy;
- reliability of traction and towing properties due to the block structure of the central part of the tread;
- protection against hydroplaning through deep transverse and longitudinal grooves;
- reinforced sidewall, resistant to mechanical stress and extending the life of the tire.
