Description WestLake CM987
The WestLake CM987 commercial tire is installed on the driving axle. It is designed for medium-capacity trucks and special equipment based on them. Adapted for use on both asphalt and dirt roads. It is distinguished by improved traction properties on slippery and loose surfaces.
The tread pattern is made in a non-directional design with open shoulder areas. The paired blocks located here form extended transverse edges, which increase the traction force on dirt and winter roads. Their limited mobility improves stability during maneuvering and reduces uneven wear. In the central part, a wide solid rib is formed from massive polygonal blocks. It reduces rolling resistance. The tread is made of a compound with increased resistance not only to abrasion but also to punctures and tears. This increases the reliability of the tire when operating on dirt roads.
Key Features:
- a tread pattern with open shoulder areas is effective on any road surface, including dirt roads;
- a rubber compound with increased strength against tearing and stretching provides reliability and a long service life in the most severe conditions;
- paired blocks in the shoulder areas provide high traction force on slippery and loose surfaces.
