The profile of the tread has a variable curvature, which expands the contact patch, equalizes the pressure on the road surface. This improves handling and also reduces the rate of tread wear. Its asymmetric pattern contains a large number of blocks and lamellas. Their numerous edges provide reliability of vehicle control on wet pavement. These same properties are ensured by drainage grooves, the large volume and multidirectionality of which do not allow aquaplaning at almost any speed.
