All-season passenger tire VSP V001, produced by an Indonesian manufacturer, was created by German tire engineers specifically for powerful passenger cars. The belonging of this model to ultra-high performance tires is indicated by the speed indices V and W assigned to all 25 sizes, from 195/50R15 to 235/35R19. In addition, such an extensive range of sizes is proof of the wide applicability of this tire.
This model is equipped with a popular V-shaped directional symmetrical tread pattern, which is characterized by a very aggressive design. Like most competitors, the tread of this model has five longitudinal ribs. In the center of the VSP V001 tread, there is a wide rib, the solid and rigid construction of which provides excellent directional stability at all speeds, as well as a short reaction time of the tire to steering wheel turns. Additionally, the high rigidity of the central rib contributes to a significant improvement in acceleration and braking efficiency, especially on dry pavement.
In the central part of the tread, there are also two more ribs that provide a larger contact patch area, which made it possible to achieve excellent traction in various conditions. It is also worth noting the high efficiency of the tire's drainage system, which consists of four longitudinal grooves and a system of transverse channels. At the same time, the transverse channels located in the central part of the tread have a curved shape, which contributes to an increase in the speed of water removal from the contact patch.
The shoulder areas of the tread are characterized by increased sizes, which made it possible to ensure reliable and stable behavior when passing turns at high speed. In addition, the shoulder areas of the tread have a rounded profile, which minimizes the risk of uneven wear.
