The light truck tire Vredestein Comtrac All Season was specially created for all-season use on commercial vehicles. It perfectly combines safety and driving comfort. To achieve this, the company's specialists paid special attention to creating a rubber compound and tread design.
New rubber compound
When creating the rubber compound, all possible nuances of tire operation in winter and summer were taken into account. The increased silica content made it possible to achieve excellent elasticity of the rubber even with sharp temperature fluctuations. Therefore, in any weather conditions (rain, snow, ice), the tire has excellent grip with the road surface. Also, due to the increased elasticity, the tread has excellent recovery properties, increasing driving comfort and reducing the load on the suspension components. The use of silicon as an additive has increased the wear resistance of the rubber, increasing the tire's mileage on any road surface. The application of a unique rubber compound composition made it possible to achieve excellent traction and grip characteristics in any weather conditions.
Aggressive tread pattern
To increase passability and stability, an aggressive tread design was used. Two rows of central V-shaped blocks provide confident handling during straight-line driving. Deep channels quickly remove water, slush, and dirt from the contact patch, ensuring reliable grip with any road surface. Also, the shape of the channels prevents stones from getting stuck in the tread, which increases passability and stability on off-road and soft ground. Massive blocks in the shoulder area reliably protect the tire from lateral damage, ensuring increased stability during maneuvers. The optimal arrangement of blocks, together with the new rubber compound, made it possible to significantly increase the contact patch, increasing stability and handling. Lameles of various shapes and depths increase stability on wet road surfaces and reduce noise while driving.
