The Viatti Bosco H/T summer tire is designed for crossovers and SUVs that operate on highways and off-road in a 90/10 ratio. It is characterized by good traction properties on wet surfaces, reliability, and a long service life.

Stability at any speed

The tire has a tread with a classic non-directional design. Its division into five longitudinal ribs improves operating properties at high speeds, ensuring directional stability and maneuverability. Additionally, this design significantly reduces rolling resistance and, along with it, tread heat and fuel consumption.

Multifunctional lamellas

The tread pattern contains numerous cuts made in all blocks. These elements perform several functions at once. A significant part of them is due to the multi-sided shape and the arrangement of the edges formed by the lamellas at an angle. This design provides the blocks with some mobility, sufficient to optimize the distribution of external pressure across the contact patch. As a result, several operating properties are improved at once. First and foremost, this is the stability of traction properties, especially when changing the mode of movement and road surface characteristics, as well as resistance to uneven wear. On wet surfaces, such lamellas effectively prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning, providing the contact patch with numerous edges that easily penetrate through the water film.

Rigid shoulder blocks

The shoulder zones of the tread contain a large number of wide blocks. Due to their massive size, they enhance traction during maneuvering, preventing skidding. Additionally, these elements have an original shape, thanks to which long and curved transverse edges are formed. They significantly improve the performance of the tread during acceleration and braking, especially on wet surfaces.

Latest HighControl Technology

Increased tire circumferential stiffness due to special reinforcements between the tread pattern elements in the shoulder and central rows improves the car's handling and stability while driving. Together with the HighStab technology, it creates ring rows of stiffness, which increases directional stability when driving straight and handling during maneuvers.

HydroSafe

The Hydro Safe technology – four longitudinal tread grooves effectively and quickly remove water from the contact patch. Longitudinal grooves with non-uniform geometry and sharp edges of central lugs effectively break up the water film, providing optimal lateral fluid removal from the contact patch.

SilencePro

The SilencePro technology provides enhanced acoustic comfort. The new unique zigzag shape of the grooves and lamellas on the tread, as well as the varied width and sequence of the tread pattern blocks, change the resonance when the tire rolls, significantly reducing the noise from movement.

High Stability

HighStab technology - a unique tread pattern with a rigid edge in the center and longitudinal reinforced rows of lugs allows the tires to provide maximum grip with the road during the most extreme maneuvers.

Variable Valve Timing System

The VSS (variable sidewall stiffness) technology provides high directional stability when driving straight, allows maintaining speed in turns, and smooths out obstacle passage. The tire literally adapts to the surface and changes in speeds.
