Tunga Nordway 2

Tunga Nordway 2 – a winter studded tire, distinguished by its reliability in passing icy and snowy road sections. A long service life, due to the special design of the tread and the compound composition, complements the operational set.

The tread is made in the Scandinavian style, has a symmetrical direction, which is equipped with a developed lamellar system. The central zigzag rib, having numerous gripping faces, contributes to directional stability. While numerous "shoulder" blocks are responsible for maneuverability and rapid cleaning of the tread from snow and dirt. For this purpose, deep channels connected to each other are provided.

The presence of studs makes it possible to drive on an icy road while maintaining vehicle control. Note that the tire contains about 100 studs, which have an original mounting system. The bottom is fixed rigidly, and the top is more softly. This allows the studs to maintain their integrity for a long time. A special indicator in the form of a snowflake is provided for running-in the studs, the wear of which indicates its successful passage.
