The Triangle PL02 winter tire is designed for passenger cars of various classes. The marking contains a fairly high speed index for this segment - H and V for most sizes. Being non-studded, it has improved traction properties on ice. Among other strong points of this model, it is worth noting the high level of acoustic comfort, reliability, and long service life.

High lamellation density

A distinctive feature of the tire is the very high density of lamella cutting. Asian tire manufacturers have managed to place several thousand narrow slits on the tread part of the tread. Each of them has a wavy shape that limits the transverse mobility of the blocks. This solution made it possible not only to increase traction on rolled snow and ice but also to give it better stability.

"Lightning" drainage grooves

The central part of the asymmetric tread contains drainage grooves in the shape of a lightning bolt. These elements, in addition to draining water and its mixture with snow and dirt from the contact patch, significantly improve directional stability when driving on uncleared roads.

Trapezoidal shoulder blocks

Both shoulder zones of the tread are composed of wide blocks. In a side projection, they have a trapezoidal shape that widens towards the base. This promotes better stability of the elements under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. As a result, the tire retains traction during maneuvering for a much longer period. At the same time, skidding occurs very smoothly, and the faster and more accurate transmission of lateral acceleration forces to the steering wheel simplifies the process of controlling the car.
