Description Trelleborg Twin Forestry T480 SB DA LS-2
The Trelleborg Twin Forestry T480 SB DA LS-2 industrial tire is designed for use in self-propelled special equipment used in the forestry industry. It is distinguished by its exceptional strength and resistance to damage, as well as improved traction properties on any surface.
The tread pattern is made in a directional V-shaped design, consisting of numerous blocks. They are distinguished by a two-stage profile, thanks to which an increased number of gripping edges are formed in the contact patch. They provide stability of traction and coupling properties on almost any surface. The blocks are connected by rigid "bridges", which reduces rolling resistance and heat, and minimizes the risk of cracks and tears. Another important feature of the tire is the profile of its tread. In the central part, it is made almost flat, with a noticeable rounding only at the very edges. This significantly increases the contact patch area, increasing the stability of the equipment and giving the traction and coupling properties even more stability. Note also the use of a carcass reinforced with steel cord. This significantly increases the tire's resistance to deformation, its carrying capacity, and, in addition, reduces the risk of loss of integrity when subjected to excessive mechanical stress.
Key features of the Trelleborg Twin Forestry T480 SB DA LS-2:
- improved grip on most types of soil surfaces due to the numerous blocks and their two-stage profile;
- increased voids between tread elements prevent the tire from getting stuck with chips, branches, and large stones;
- a steel cord-reinforced carcass provides resistance to damage, increases the tire's load-carrying capacity, and reduces the risk of equipment tipping over.
