Description Torque FAR518
The Torque FAR518 radial truck tire is designed for installation on the steering axle. It provides confident maneuverability, fuel efficiency, low wear rate, and resistance to hydroplaning.
This model was developed specifically for long-haul transportation. A compound was used that, in addition to protecting against wear, can withstand increased temperatures while maintaining its properties. Furthermore, the optimized tread pattern effectively removes excess heat and moisture from the contact area. All this was achieved through the use of channels and grooves that densely cover the tire. The presence of numerous biting edges had a positive effect on traction and braking properties, significantly improving them compared to analogs.
The tread pattern itself consists of three central ribs with segmentation using Z-shaped grooves. On the one hand, this structure provides vehicle stability when moving in a straight line, and on the other hand, it increases traction on low-quality roads.
Key Features of Torque FAR518
- installation on the driving axle of commercial vehicles;
- a wide contact patch provides even pressure distribution and reduces tread wear;
- a developed channel system protects against aquaplaning;
- a special compound prevents rapid wear and protects against overheating.
