The Tomket company was founded in the Czech Republic in 1997. It is a family business that started with an online store selling car tires and currently deals with their trade, but already under its own brand. Their range includes over 300 sizes, including a large number of options for commercial vehicles. A significant part of the revenue is invested in development, which allows offering high-quality and high-tech tires, known even in motorsports.
In the passenger tire segment, the brand offers 16 models, distributed among the following lines:
- special;
- summer;
- winter.
The brand refers to all-season models and SUV tires as special tires. For year-round use, tires are offered that are designed for use in regions with the so-called "European" climate with improved traction on snow and wet pavement. Among other features, it is worth noting the comfort of handling, low noise level, and long service life. For SUVs, several models are offered, primarily oriented towards off-road use. These are mostly universal models suitable for most types of ground cover. All of them are distinguished by a damage-resistant design, increased passability, and reliable traction and coupling properties in any conditions.
For summer conditions, the brand offers the largest number of models. The variety is due to the presence in the range of tires not only for passenger cars but also for crossovers and commercial vehicles. A wide range of operational properties is available, which, as a rule, highlights durability and fuel efficiency, sports handling, or balanced ride quality.
The winter tire line is represented by models designed for use primarily in regions with a moderately cold climate. They are distinguished by improved traction on wet and snowy surfaces, the use of special compounds with a high content of "silica" and dense cutting with "three-dimensional" lamellas. It is also worth noting the use of durable carcasses that are more resistant to mechanical damage, which ensures a long service life for these tires even on poor roads.
In the segment of full-size commercial tires, the brand offers nine models designed for use primarily on asphalt roads. The tires are distributed among two categories - for long-haul and city/regional transportation. For most of them, a wide range of sizes is available, which provides excellent applicability, including for large-capacity buses. The tire line contains both universal tires for all axles and specialized models for a specific axle. It includes options designed for specific operating conditions, primarily snowy surfaces and solid dirt roads. Such tires are distinguished by tread patterns composed of both separate blocks and continuous longitudinal ribs, but with a large number of differently directed edges and protrusions.
