The Three-A T178 commercial tire is designed for the drive axles of trucks and tractors used in medium and long-haul transportation. It is characterized by increased traction properties and stability on wet and snowy roads, carrying capacity, resistance to abrasive wear and punctures.
The tread pattern consists of a large number of blocks. The elements are arranged in a "checkerboard" order, which increases the contact patch, improving traction and reducing wear, noise. The elongated shape of the elements along the length and their distribution along the longitudinal ribs reduces rolling resistance, providing more stable traction during uniform movement. The numerous and multidirectional edges formed by the blocks maintain traction properties on snow and wet roads. The lamellas cut into them enhance them.
