The cargo tire Terraking HS268, known by many names, is produced by one of the largest tire manufacturers in China. This model was developed taking into account the features of operation on roads of poor quality, which is reflected in a number of technical solutions, which will be discussed below.

Reinforced carcass and breaker

Under the unassuming exterior lies a fairly serious design, giving the tire significant reliability and high carrying capacity. Its basis is a carcass made entirely of steel cord. On top of it is a breaker, also having a solid metal structure. This allowed the tire to have several important operational properties at once. In addition to load capacity and strength, they include resistance to uneven wear, reliable and stable traction, as well as reduced rolling resistance.

High longitudinal traction characteristics

The design of the tread pattern of this tire contains a minimum of separate elements, which, however, did not prevent Chinese tire manufacturers from giving it good longitudinal traction properties. They are achieved due to the polygonal shape of all four longitudinal ribs. During movement, they form traction edges that are distinguished not only by their large number but also by their significant length and transverse arrangement of most of them.
