Description Taitong HS166
The Taitong HS166 commercial tire is a classic "trailer" model designed for use in medium and long-distance transportation. It is characterized by extremely low rolling resistance, stability when towing on dry and wet surfaces, increased load capacity, wear resistance and puncture resistance.
The closed tread pattern features a wavy shape of longitudinal grooves. It further increases the resistance to aquaplaning, as well as prevents rapid tire wear, reduces noise and vibration. The central three ribs are interspersed with intersecting lamellae. These elements, forming numerous multidirectional faces, preserve a significant part of the traction properties on wet surfaces.
Key features of Taitong HS166
- reinforced shoulder ribs increase the stability of the grip when towing, prevent uneven wear;
- numerous multidirectional lamellae in the central part provide stability on wet surfaces, give the tire's ride additional smoothness;
- the wavy shape of the longitudinal grooves reduces the risk of hydroplaning, slows down the process of abrasive wear of the tread.
