The Starmaxx Snowmaster W651 winter tire is suitable for almost any popular passenger car. The model is offered in more than fifty sizes with a diameter of 14 to 19 inches. A significant part of the options is made using Run Flat technology. In motion, the tire is characterized by excellent directional stability and reliable traction properties on any winter surface, a high level of acoustic comfort, and a soft ride.
The tread pattern is executed in an asymmetric design with numerous large blocks. Their structure is such that in the zone contacting the road surface, a large number of multidirectional high and very long edges are formed. This provides the tire with excellent stability and traction on snow, regardless of the driving mode. On icy surfaces, these properties are practically fully preserved due to the work of original Z-shaped lamellas, which are present in each tread element. The tire's tread is made from a special rubber compound. Its composition is distinguished by an increased content of silica. The complex of silica-based substances provides the tire with elasticity at low temperatures and additional resistance to wear.
