The target audience of the Starmaxx Imperium PT515 summer tire is the owners of compact and medium-sized passenger cars. It is characterized by a high-tech design, which makes it practically devoid of "weak points", demonstrating balanced operational properties in any road conditions.
The tread part of the tire is made of a rubber compound with an increased content of silica. This component is presented in the form of a fine dispersion, which ensures its uniform distribution throughout the compound. Its influence on the tire is expressed in improved handling on wet surfaces, reduced rolling resistance, and increased resistance to wear.
Another high-tech solution is the use of a "hybrid" breaker design. The steel cord is supplemented with an additional layer of nylon. Synthetic fibers are arranged in a spiral pattern, and the technology used in their winding eliminates the occurrence of seams and joints.
