The Starmaxx Explero Winter W671 winter tire is installed on medium-sized crossovers and SUVs. It is distinguished by high traction on slippery snow and ice roads, braking efficiency, stability, and directional stability.

This model is offered with two variants of the tread pattern. Versions of the tire with a tread width of more than 275 mm have an additional longitudinal row of trapezoidal blocks. The shape and arrangement of the edges of these elements improve handling and reliability of grip when maneuvering. The blocks located closer to the inner side of the asymmetric tread form very extended transverse edges. This ensures high efficiency of traction on snow. On icy surfaces, stability is achieved by numerous sinusoidal lamellas. In the shoulder areas, they are connected by longitudinal slots. They provide simultaneous opening of all lamellas in the block, which significantly reduces the braking distance on ice.
