Description Starco AS Loader
Starco AS Loader — a tire for tractor axles, combines and a range of self-propelled agricultural machines. The model combines high cross-country ability on wet and loose soil with stability on hard surfaces.
Tread Geometry
The tread pattern is directional, with massive mud grips arranged diagonally. This orientation of the blocks provides:
- even distribution of traction effort across the contact patch width;
- reduced vibration when moving on hard surfaces;
- self-cleaning of grooves from dirt and plant residues.
In the central part of the tread, the mud grips form a longitudinal rib. It acts as a stabilizer: when moving on asphalt or a concrete pad, such an element prevents the technique from "swaying" and makes the control "responsive".
Operation on Variable Surfaces
The key engineering feature is the ability to work effectively on both soft and hard ground without changing wheels. This is achieved due to the optimized height of the mud grips and a wide contact area. The increased contact patch area reduces the pressure on the soil and simultaneously increases the grip on hard surfaces due to greater friction.
Protection Against Mechanical Damage
The massive mud grips perform not only traction function. They serve as a natural armor for the carcass. The protruding blocks take the impact of unevenness, preventing cuts and punctures in the inter-block depressions.
Key Features of Starco AS Loader:
- designed for tractors and agricultural machines;
- diagonal mud grips with a central rib provide excellent cross-country ability and stability on asphalt;
- retains traction and handling properties, both on soft arable land and on hard roads;
- a wide contact area reduces the load on the soil and improves grip on hard surfaces.
