Description Simpeco Praktik S1
Simpeco Praktik S1 — a tire designed for heavy commercial vehicles. It is installed on the steering axle, providing a low rolling resistance, ease of handling in various speed modes, and a long service life.
The Thai manufacturer used a compound with many new additives for the tire base. This composition improved the wear resistance, which resulted in an increased mileage. In addition, a number of components reduced air resistance. As a result, fuel consumption was reduced, and the model's economy was improved. An important feature is the effective resistance to overheating and maintaining the elasticity of the compound during prolonged operation. This affects the preservation of working properties.
The tread is represented by a five-rib structure with a minimal number of additional elements on them. This formed a large contact patch, providing an even distribution of load and optimizing the carrying capacity. The rib structure itself had a positive effect on handling accuracy and course stability during straight-line driving. Large circumferential grooves, in combination with a network of notches and grooves, facilitate quick water and dirt removal from the contact area, minimizing aquaplaning.
Key features of Simpeco Praktik S1:
- use on the steering axle of heavy trucks;
- a developed rib system provides maneuverability and course stability;
- a number of notches and grooves form a large number of traction points, improving traction properties and reducing braking distance;
- special additives in the rubber compound increased the tire's adaptability to high temperatures;
- deep circumferential grooves quickly clean the contact area and facilitate heat removal, maintaining an optimal temperature regime
