Description Shinko SR740
The Shinko SR740 motorcycle tire is designed for installation on the front wheels of motorcycles in the "sport-touring" category. At the same time, the manufacturer recommends it for joint use with the SR741 model, which should be installed on the rear wheel. Among the distinctive features of this tire, one should note excellent directional stability, a short braking distance, and high maneuverability.
Dual longitudinal central rib
The tread pattern of this model is divided into several functional zones, each of which is designed to perform a strictly defined set of tasks. In particular, the central part of the tread, which is a very wide longitudinal rib, provides maximum traction when moving in a straight line and when making gentle turns. Due to the absence of any breaks throughout its length, it is highly resistant to dynamic deformation. When driving, this feature is expressed in the form of stable and sporty handling, which consists of reliable traction, speed, and accuracy of response to driver control.
Massive blocks of shoulder areas
In turn, the shoulder areas have an open design, the main elements of which are massive blocks of a leaf-like shape. Since they are located predominantly transversely, on the one hand, they provide high braking efficiency due to their very long edges, and on the other hand, excellent directional stability when cornering.
