The Shinko E805 motorcycle tire for the rear wheel is positioned by the manufacturer as a dual-purpose model, suitable for use on both highways and off-road. The ratio of operation on roads and off-road is 40/60.
The tread pattern of the tire is designed in the "Big-Block" style. It is characterized by massive sizes and simple geometric shapes of the blocks that form a multitude of transverse rows. In motion, they form very long edges that provide excellent longitudinal grip properties. The shoulder areas are separated by wide semi-circular grooves. This enhances the stability of the motorcycle on dirt surfaces at significant angles of inclination. It is worth noting the rigid construction of the sidewalls, which enhances this effect, especially on earth and sand surfaces with high moisture content.
