Description Shinko 550
Unlike most other models that get by with a factory index, the Shinko 550 motorcycle tire has its own name "Whitehall". Its choice is due to both the specialization of the tire and its external appearance. The model is designed for scooters with a classic look for such equipment. Its integral element is tires with a sidewall painted white. It is also present in this tire.
The tire is distinguished by an increased speed index - J. Its appearance in the marking is due to the rigid construction of the frame, the shape of which practically does not change even under significant exposure to multidirectional acceleration forces and impact loads. It contains four synthetic cords, which not only enhance the above-mentioned properties but also give the tire a low weight, reducing rolling resistance. The tread pattern is also adapted for long high-speed movement. A solid longitudinal rib in the center enhances directional stability on a straight line, and similar elements in the shoulder zones - when cornering. The blocks located between them are also characterized by rigidity, ensuring confident behavior at high speeds.
