Multifunctional drainage system
One of the distinctive features of this model is the tread pattern, the drainage system of which performs several functions at once. First of all, it is the removal of water from the contact patch, the efficiency of which is at a very high level. It is ensured not only by the number of grooves, but also by their size and shape. It is curved, which significantly increases the flow rate of water due to the absence of any turbulence. Additional speed is given to this process due to the arrangement of drainage grooves against the direction of movement.
As for another function of the drainage system, it consists in providing coupling properties and braking efficiency on wet roads. This is achieved due to the formation of a large number of coupling edges by the grooves, which have a very large extent.
High stability at any speed
Like most other models in this line, one of the layers of the 005 Advance carcass is made of aromatic polyamide. This material has very high mechanical strength, stiffness, and resistance to high-temperature effects. Thanks to this, it was possible to significantly increase the resistance of the Shinko 005 Advance tire to dynamic deformation, which increases simultaneously with the gain in speed. Due to the fact that its shape remains unchanged, when moving at high speed, it demonstrates excellent stability and reliability.
