The Sailun Ice Blazer WST1 winter tire in its standard version is offered without studs. But even without them, it demonstrates excellent performance on slippery snow and ice roads, while also being easy to handle and smooth on the move.
The tread pattern features a "Scandinavian" design with a solid rib in the center of a well-known arrow-shaped form and sickle-shaped double blocks next to it. The resulting gripping edges have a curved shape and are directed against the direction of movement. This solution provides excellent directional stability and stability of gripping properties. The effectiveness of the tread on snow is improved due to the profile of the shoulder blocks, which increase the pressure on the road surface. On ice, the gripping properties are provided by both the blocks and the wavy lamellas cut into them.
Main features:
- the arrow-shaped rib in the middle provides high maneuverability, increases traction on snow, and improves directional stability;
- sickle-shaped blocks in the central part provide confident behavior on snow;
- numerous lamellas prevent longitudinal slipping on wet and icy surfaces.
