I bought this tire for the first time in 2021, 18R 225 45, previously had Nokian for a season and 25,000 km, 1 wheel was broken, 2 had bulges, the wear indicator went from 8 to 5, and the potholes were not that serious, so the low profile in the province is a waste of money. But when the new season arrived, the question of buying new tires arose, Nokian for 6,000 rubles, a worn-out set was thrown away.
And the torments of choice began, I know about Chinese tires not by hearsay from the shimomatazhniki guys, they praise them, I wanted to take Triagal, but it was more expensive, and here a friend Drifter says take Sailun, it's fire, it's durable, so I took it and didn't regret it, the casting in the arc is original, on potholes it bends, and on a 45 profile, no bulges appeared, because in our Yaroslavl there are no roads and in the surrounding regions either, except for Moscow and the Moscow region.
In terms of handling and braking, it's fire, the tire started to make noise after 50,000 km, now it's 75,000 km, 1 mm to the wear indicator, well, considering the transfer from the leading axis to the next season, from new to the wear indicator 7 mm, it was balanced normally, it holds potholes, there are no bulges, there is a sidewall protection, there was a case when I didn't calculate it, gave it at a speed of 30 into the curb, cut off a piece of sidewall protection, of course, the disk was dented, but even a bulge didn't appear, Nokian would have torn it 200% for sure.
In 2021, I bought it for 4,750 rubles, for such money, this sidewall is not available from almost any manufacturer, now the price has certainly grown, but not like in March, 10,000 rubles for a wheel. In the end, I can say that the tire is very good at resisting wear, the sidewall holds potholes, normal handling even on worn-out tires, it started to make noise towards the end of its life, but not too strongly, it's tolerable compared to Dunlop Sport, you can't hear it at all.
There is a nuance, all wide tires don't like ruts, so on the MKAD in deep ruts, you have to hold the steering wheel tightly. And to what I described above, I'm far from being a Schumacher, a calm driving style, the tire works normally, you can move at 100-120 km/h calmly in any summer weather, you can go faster, but the desire for life and a strong seat give you the opportunity to move calmly, of course, in deep ruts in the rain, any tire will float, especially if the car is light and the puddle is deep, this is physics, and there's nothing you can do about it, no matter what tire and tread you have, up to 90 km/h it goes firmly even in a 10 cm deep rut filled with water.
That's it, in short. So, whoever is looking at this tire, take it. For this money, the tire is 5+++.
