Description Royal Black DV210
When it comes to trucks that spend thousands of kilometers on the road without stopping, the requirements for tires become extreme. Royal Black DV210 is a commercial model specifically designed for the steering axle of heavy-duty trucks. Its task is to provide directional stability when driving in a straight line, maximum mileage, and excellent handling.
Five-rib tread
The model uses five longitudinal ribs. Each rib works as a separate stabilizer. The total contact area with the road increases without increasing the external diameter. The load from the heavy tractor is evenly distributed across all five. The peak pressure on each square centimeter of the tread is reduced. The result is even wear across the entire tread. The tire does not "eat" the shoulder areas. You get a predictable resource.
Each element of the tire is supplemented with fine lamellas. They increase the number of gripping edges without losing rib stiffness, prevent longitudinal slipping, and improve response to steering movements. The rib structure itself stabilizes the movement, and the lamellas add "grip" at the moment of decision-making by the driver.
Water and mud management
Deep inter-rib channels play two roles. The first is drainage: on a wet road, water instantly enters the channels and is diverted to the sides, not allowing the tire to float. The second is the evacuation of mud and small abrasive particles. Thanks to the sufficient depth of the channels, the contact area remains clean.
Key features of Royal Black DV210:
- installation on the steering axle of long-haul trucks and cargo vehicles;
- ribbed tread structure - forms a wide contact patch, ensures even load distribution, and consequently, even wear;
- "ribs" in combination with lamellas provide a stable trajectory and instant response to steering movements;
- special compound with anti-wear additives increases the service life.
