Pirelli Winter Cinturato

The Pirelli Winter Cinturato winter tire is one of the new products from the Italian manufacturer, replacing the popular Snowcontrol Series 3 model. Thanks to the fact that this tire was developed "from scratch", it surpasses its predecessor in almost all operational properties.

To a significant extent, the advantage is provided by the Multiactive 4D Sipe technology. This solution allowed not only to increase the density of the lamella arrangement but also to arrange them in such a way as to give the edges formed by them maximum efficiency. This constructive feature is especially noticeable when braking and maneuvering on snow.

Another interesting innovation is the drainage grooves Water Escape Accelerator. They are auxiliary, as they additionally increase the performance of the entire drainage system as a whole. These elements are located in the shoulder areas of the tread. Having large sizes and a curved shape, they significantly increase the speed of water and slush removal from the central part. Here are the Z-shaped longitudinal grooves. The large width allows them to easily cope with cleaning the contact patch from water and melted snow, and the original shape additionally improves handling and acoustic comfort.
