The summer tire Pirelli Pzero Luxury Saloon is designed for the most powerful versions of premium sedans. It was developed using technologies and materials tested by the Italian manufacturer in its own road-racing tires, both for cars and motorcycles.
Two rubber compounds
In particular, the tire inherited the technology of manufacturing the tread from two compounds from racing sports bike tires. The outer parts have greater elasticity due to the increased silica content, which provides better grip in corners and also acoustic comfort due to good damping of the impact of road irregularities. The central part of the tread, on the other hand, has higher stiffness, which improves directional stability, reduces rolling resistance, and prevents wear when driving at high speeds.
Improved acoustic comfort
For its category and technical characteristics, the tire is distinguished by a high level of acoustic comfort. A significant part of it is provided by a special sound-insulating layer that covers the tire from the inside. It is made of a porous synthetic material that effectively dampens low-frequency noises and vibrations, preventing them from entering the cabin through the suspension and body panels.

- exceptional stability at high speeds provided by a breaker with longitudinal cord placement and continuous longitudinal ribs in the center of the tread;
