The Pirelli Pharos Steer commercial tire is designed for use primarily on the steering axle of trucks and long-haul tractors. It demonstrates its greatest efficiency on asphalt roads with good surface quality, providing comfortable handling, directional stability, low noise and vibration levels, and reduced heat generation.

The closed tread pattern consists of five longitudinal ribs. This design, on the one hand, reduces heat generation and rolling resistance when driving at high speeds with a heavy load, and on the other hand, increases directional stability and steering precision, reducing the abrasive effect on the tire. A significant number of lamellas are cut in the central part, which, along with the wide longitudinal grooves between the ribs, maintain high traction properties on wet surfaces and also prevent rapid wear of the tread when driving on highly abrasive surfaces.
