Description Pirelli ITS90
The Pirelli ITS90 commercial tire is designed for use on the load-carrying axles of trailers and semi-trailers. It is recommended for use in long-haul and regional transportation. It is characterized by increased load-carrying capacity, reduced rolling resistance, and stable traction when towing on dry and wet surfaces.
The tread pattern consists of solid longitudinal ribs. The elements on the edges are made more massive and rigid, which increases resistance to abrasive wear and stability of traction at high speeds. The ribs in the central part contain transverse lamellas. Their sharpened edges on wet surfaces provide higher braking intensity. The wavy shape of the drainage grooves expands their functionality. In addition to more active prevention of aquaplaning, this reduces the risk of stones getting stuck in the tread, along with special protrusions on the bottom of the grooves.
