The Petroshina L-248 motorcycle tire is designed based on the L-230 model. And, like it, it is intended for operation on dirt roads and can be used in motocross competitions.
The tread pattern is a combination of high rectangular lugs in the center and conical ones on the edges. This solution provides the tire with balanced properties. The lugs in the form of a truncated cone are better embedded in the loose surface, increasing resistance to lateral slippage, especially on grassy and marshy soils, as well as in deep snow. The rectangular elements in the central part, having good stiffness, provide more stable traction and precise control during straight-line movement.
