Petlas Velox Sport PT741-2

The summer tire Petlas Velox Sport PT741-2 is designed for dynamic versions of passenger cars of various classes. It is adapted to high-speed operation, demonstrating stability of coupling properties, directional stability and precision handling. Depending on the tread width, it is equipped with two pattern options - with a single or double rib in the middle.

The tread is made of a rubber compound with ultra-high silica content. The component has low dispersity and forms strong molecular bonds with other substances in the compound composition using special polymers. As a result, the tread has increased elasticity with high resistance to abrasive wear, punctures and cuts.

Under the tread, there is a "hybrid" breaker. In addition to steel, its design uses an additional nylon cord, the spiral winding of which is characterized by the absence of seams and joints. This increases the stiffness of the structure, which has a positive effect on handling precision, high-speed stability, as well as reduced rolling resistance and uneven wear.
