Petlas Velox Sport PT731

The summer tire Petlas Velox Sport PT731 is installed on compact and medium-sized passenger cars. It is favorably distinguished by the balance of the main operational properties, thanks to the stability of the coupling properties on dry and wet surfaces, the comfort of handling when maneuvering, acoustic comfort, and fuel efficiency.

The tread pattern is made asymmetric and features large-sized elements. Together with the optimized profile of the tread part, this increases the contact patch, enhancing the coupling properties on dry surfaces. Efficiency on wet surfaces is provided by numerous transverse edges of narrow water-dispelling grooves, as well as increased longitudinal drainage grooves. It is worth noting the use of a rubber compound based on fine-dispersed "silica". It increases the adhesion of the tread at low temperatures. When maneuvering, the tire demonstrates excellent precision in handling and stability for its class. This is due to the massiveness and rigidity of the two longitudinal ribs on the outer side of the tread.
