The Petlas Explero PT431 summer tire is used in SUVs and off-road vehicles. It belongs to the High Terrain category. The tire's operational properties are selected based on the characteristics of use on asphalt pavement. It is characterized by stable traction in any situation, a shortened braking distance on wet pavement. It is offered with two options for tread pattern. Tires with a tread width of more than 255 mm have the number of longitudinal ribs increased to two in the central part.
Regardless of the size, an asymmetric tread pattern is used in the tire. The key feature of the design is the massiveness of the elements. This solution increases the size of the contact patch and, as a consequence, enhances the traction properties on dry pavement.
