The commercial tire Ovation EAR518, installed on the steering axle of cargo vehicles operated on urban and intercity routes, is characterized by increased traction, providing good passability, as well as steering sensitivity.

The model is equipped with a tread, represented by a multi-block structure. In the central and middle zone, there are three ribs. Each of them is divided into elements of medium size. The edges of the latter create gripping edges that improve traction and support stability when performing maneuvers. In the lateral area, there are sufficiently wide blocks made of a more durable compound. On the one hand, they perform the role of protection against deformation. Thanks to this, the heavy vehicle behaves predictably when turning. On the other hand, they provide protection against mechanical impacts, for example, when driving over sharp stones, potholes, etc.
