New tread pattern
When creating the tread pattern of the Ornate L2, a computer modeling method was used, which made it possible to optimally arrange the blocks, resulting in excellent driving qualities. The carefully designed drainage system perfectly performs its function, quickly removing water, snow, and dirt from the tread, increasing passability and stability. The new lamella system reduces the sound effect during movement, increasing the comfort of driving over long distances. To increase stability during maneuvers, a thicker layer of rubber was used in the shoulder area, which also increased protection against lateral damage and punctures.
Improved carcass design
When creating the carcass, a new cord winding technology and modern, lightweight materials of increased strength were applied. Thanks to this, the new carcass perfectly withstands increased loads and prevents possible damage. The reduced weight of the tire had a positive effect on the speed characteristics. The new carcass also increased the contact patch and prevented uneven wear, due to the optimal distribution of pressure inside the tire.
The use of new components in the rubber mixture made it possible to increase the tire's mileage and improve traction qualities at negative temperatures. The new mixture reduced the rolling resistance coefficient, increasing stability and reducing fuel consumption while driving.
