Description Opals OP202
The Opals OP202 commercial tire is used on steer and trailer axles of trucks. It is designed for operation on asphalt roads with good road surface quality. It is distinguished by increased load capacity and strength, reduced rolling resistance, wear resistance and puncture resistance, and reliable traction properties on wet pavement.
The closed tread pattern features five massive longitudinal ribs. These elements provide a significant contact patch area, equalizing the pressure on the road surface. This significantly improves traction, prevents premature tread wear. Another difference is the presence of lamellas with extended bidirectional edges. With their help, the braking intensity on wet pavement is increased.
Key features of Opals OP202
- increased tread pattern depth, increased stiffness of the shoulder ribs increase tire mileage;
- bidirectional lamellas improve braking properties on wet pavement;
- improved compound with increased resistance to wear, cracking, punctures.
